Attendees are invited to bring their poems to read in the open mic that follows the first hour of poetry offered by nine poets. \nLast summer India Currents in collaboration with Poetry of Diaspora in Silicon Valley\, offered an online poetry show to raise poetic voices of diaspora in the ‘Stop the Hate’ campaign. The program was called Navarasa\, for the nine rasas (juices/emotions) described in Indian classical arts texts. The Poetry of Diaspora in Silicon Valley group nurtures poetic voices in the community to share the joy of oral poetic traditions\, from all parts of the world.
