Bharatanatyam: Guru Dr. Aparna Sindhoor has been dancing for more than 35 years. She trained with legendary teacher Dr. K. Venkatalakshamma in the Mysore-style Bharatanatyam and with Lalitha Srinivasan. Mysore style developed under the patronage of the Wodeyer kings. Beautiful rhythm work, lyrical grace, extraordinary abhinaya and musicality are some of the salient aspects of this style. Guru Aparna Sindhoor has a PhD in Dance from Boston University.
