Vemana Sumathi Bhavana, a blend of classical music, dance, and world pop music. The performance feature a portrayal of famous adages of the legendary poets Vemana and Sumathi as a sublime dance drama utilizing 10 schools of world dance and over 75 artists, choreographed by Sinduri Jayasinghe.

 

Jayasinghe is a celebrated classical dancer who has been honored by the Dalai Lama and a former president of India. Jayasinghe uses artistic expressions to convey socially responsible messages that tackle India’s pressing social changes. Also features the band Rhythm Company and the movie Hope by Haranath Poricherla. The event is a fundraiser that will provide education of poor children in India. Organized by Savithri Arts Academy to benefit the organization Support Good Cause.
